Hello

Hi! My name is Jennifer and I'm addicted to crafting :) Currently I make hair bows and bottle cap crafts.

I started making hair bows for my daughters a little over a year ago. They always wanted me to buy bows for them, but I had such a hard time paying the high prices for something that looked simple enough for me to do myself, so I gave it a shot. I found a website that had instructions for all different kinds of bows. I bought the cheapest ribbon I could find to practice with and went to work. It took me a little while to get the hang of it. The first several tries produced a mess that was unrecognizable, but I kept trying. Finally, I started to make what sort of resembled a hair bow. I wish I had taken pictures of the first ones. After a while, I was able to make a bow that, at the time, seemed worthy of actually wearing in public. Now that I look back at them, I realize they probably weren't, but my girls loved them.

My bows have come a long way since then. I opened a shop in Etsy,and have sold a few, but most of my bow sales have been local for events at school, i.e. sports, field day, holidays.

I am looking forward to sharing my experiences in this blog and growing as a crafter. I have many ideas that are bursting to escape and I think this will be a great outlet for that.
